It is is an excellent moisturizer for hair and skin; obtained from non-GMO, pesticide-free beans. Botanix Castor Oil can be used directly on the skin or the hair as well as blended to make artisan soaps, lotions and other hair and body products. Each amber-colored, light-limiting bottle contains 473 mL / 16 Ounces of premium carrier oil.
This highest quality carrier oil is cold-pressed to retain much of its natural qualities.
It has a long history of use in traditional medicine. More recently it has become a staple in hand-made soaps because of its capacity to improve quality and quantity of lather. Tips on Use of Castor Oil
Castor oil is thick, so to make it more usable as a topical product, we recommend to mix it with another carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil or even Olive Oil.

Do not ingest. This is a USP-grade oil for external, and cosmetic use. It is not for ingestion.

Like other botanical oils it has a mild scent, may be mixed with a few drops of essential oil
