Neem Oil has a long tradition of being used in skincare regimes, as it has natural antioxidants, omega fatty acids, and Vitamin E, all of which have shown to be effective in promoting a health-looking skin. Neem Oil has a strong, pungent smell, usually referred to as garlicy or sulfur like. It is also quite viscous and thick, and tends to become solid in colder temperatures. To thin it out simply place it in a hot water bath.
Neem Oil is generally mixed with other oils and butters, usually at no more than 10%, as part of natural skin or hair care formulations. That also helps with mellowing out the scent.
